Volunteer Program Temporarily Paused
Alex’s Safe Place is pausing new volunteer onboarding while we focus on caring for our animals and supporting the mental and emotional health of the friends behind the care.
The past months have brought heartbreaking losses of both animals and friends, an increasing influx of animals in need, overwhelming veterinary bills, and major renovation projects needed for the safety and comfort of our animals. Our small team needs time to pause, reset, and rebuild capacity.
This time will allow us to create a strong, well-supported volunteer program for the future.
We are deeply grateful for your interest and will reopen sign-ups as soon as we’re ready.

Every Penny Counts
As redundant and cliché as it sounds, every dollar makes a difference. Whether it goes toward maintaining our farm, providing spay and neuter care for our foster animals, or buying a bale or even half a bale of hay, it makes a huge difference to us.
